About Me | Jazele Rabbani
I am a Los Angeles–based artist, designer, and museum professional working across photography, digital media, graphic design, and ceramics.
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media and minor in Art History from the University of Toledo, graduating magna cum laude in 2022. My education allowed me to explore not only the process of creating artwork, but also the ways art is researched, interpreted, designed, and presented to the public.
My exhibition experience includes curatorial research, exhibition design, artwork installation, and collaborative work with the Toledo Museum of Art for Contrary Bodies. I have also exhibited photography at the University of Toledo, Clement Gallery, and Eastern Michigan University. In 2022, three of my photographic works were accepted into the University of Toledo Juried Student Exhibition, with my triptych Break receiving First Place.
Alongside my studio practice, I have developed experience in branding, visual communication, project coordination, business operations, and public engagement. I am particularly interested in museum and gallery work that brings together thoughtful research, strong visual presentation, and meaningful visitor experiences.
My personal work continues to move between photography, digital media, and ceramics. Across these mediums, I am interested in creating work that feels considered, visually engaging, and connected to the spaces and people who encounter it.
